Yes, Bump Map, and yes it is. Bump map is not a generic term, it's just
a Gimp plugin, and that's what it's called.

I think I could do a better job than "bump map" if I did it by hand. It
just takes longer that way.

I wasn't planning on doing one at all. I was just giving an idea. Anyone
can make an animated gif banner from the design I made.
