Btw. If people like this design, then I think that the next step is to
make an animated GIF where the first frame has the logo and says
"OpenDocument Format" and then it fades into this banner6 image. So the
effect would be:

OpenDocument ... Get the viewer

The animated GIF is not suitable for all contexts btw. Some sites will
prefer to use a static image like the one above and introduce
OpenDocument in the context of the site (e.g. inside a section titled
OpenDocument).

The animated GIF and the static PNG just serve different uses.
