The 2.4.5 changelog refers to export capability, and I've just built the 
version from Debian and it sorta works on a few noddy documents.

It doesn't do frames (crash), paragraph borders (ignored) or Chinese text
(renders circles!)  but it can indeed load and save simple, English text.
